People + the planet
Sustainability through longevity
Making the right products from the right materials for their environment
Stainless steel
Steel taps, soap dispensers, hand dryers, and accessories have robust recycling prospects. TSL’s suppliers are committed to sourcing raw materials responsibly and robust infrastructure ensures it is easy to renew material after their life cycle is exhausted. Stainless steel is an ideal material for the moisture-rich commercial washroom where corrosion, patination, and damage are key strains on installed product.
Solid surface
Solid surface is low-VOC, which can positively contribute to BREEAM or LEED ratings. A homogenous, non-porous material, it is ideal material for the commercial washroom where it can withstand damages or staining, and be seamlessly repaired if necessary, far outperforming porcelain products in this hardwearing application. Beyond the benefits of traditional solid surface, our basins are compatible with materials like Polygood and Durat, which offer 100% recycled content, with a fully circular life cycle. Because of this material’s durability and renewability, The Splash Lab is able offer a 10-year warranty on our solid surface basins.
Our core range is fully CO2 declared
Third party-verified EPDs cover the resources, energy, and emissions impact during the life cycle of each of our products. Please contact us for assistance interpreting EPDs.
Water is a precious resource
And nowhere is this so clear as in the washroom
TSL offers our full range of taps with low flow rates that meet BREEAM and LEED recommendations via a modular aerator system. This system keeps our taps compliant without sacrificing the pleasure of the handwashing experience, thus maintaining our connection with this vital element.
Digital spaces powered by green energy from renewable sources
As a technology-forward brand, The Splash Lab is committed to ensuring responsibility in digital spaces. Our server sites are powered by green energy from renewable sources and use a passive cooling technique that renders them carbon negative. We can therefore provide robust online resources without increasing this too-often invisible strain on the planet.

We design for change
Washrooms should reflect the society they serve, goes the saying. But what if washrooms could help us imagine the society we deserve? TSL believes in creating products for spaces that push past conventional wisdom, and in turn inspire more just and functional norms.
Inclusivity
Inclusive design is a key vector in the washroom space. Disabilities both visible and otherwise impact how we use washrooms in safety and comfort. Washroom products can optimise for sensory environment, navigability, and physical safety. Evolved, human-led washroom design can also lessen social anxieties to make allowance for important aspects of personal care like ablutions and breastfeeding. Better washrooms in commercial and public spaces allow all people to participate in their communities in comfort and dignity.
Repair = reuse
Beyond their resource-conscious materials, our products are 100% serviceable at the part level. All TSL products sport a mechanical, rather than fused construction, so they can be taken apart, re-assembled, and retuned. We are committed to unlimited ongoing customer support in this process to ensure our products live out their full life cycle in working order with a dedicated service team.
