The Splash Lab is excited to announce that we will be taking part in the UK's leading design festival this May during Clerkenwell Design Week 2023. From 23 May - 25 May, Clerkenwell Design Week will overtake East Central London with hundreds of showrooms, exhibitors, installations, events, discussions and thousands of products on display for all to see. Some of the most internationally recognised brands will be making an appearance, and The Splash Lab is thrilled to join them all during this anticipated design festival. World class showrooms
Every year Clerkenwell Design Week partners with an incredible number of local resident design showrooms to create an experience unlike any other. In 2023, they've partnered with over 120 brands from 17 different countries for what's sure to be this design show's most exciting year yet. From high-end furniture to lighting, surface, kitchen, and of course bathroom brands, visitors will find themselves immersed in so many unique showrooms that are designed to inspire. All told, there will be more than 130 unique showrooms to explore – with each one showcasing an array of new products recently released and coming soon. Visitors will only have three days to see all these showrooms, so come prepared with a plan to ensure all is experienced.Memorable exhibitions
There will be a range of exhibitions throughout the East Central London area during Clerkenwell Design Week, with each one featuring a curated collection of leading brands and even showcasing emerging talent. From the crypts of St. James's Church to the subterranean House of Detention in a former Victorian Prison, the locally cherished Old Sessions House or even a custom purpose-built venue just for Clerkenwell Design Week, these exhibitions combine location and product to offer memorable experiences beyond compare. There are 11 exhibitions to explore in total, so we've chosen the three we're most excited about:- Design Fields – This exhibition highlights a select few international brands as chosen by Clerkenwell Design Week, and will showcase contemporary furniture and innovative new products within Spa Fields' spacious pavilion.
- Detail – Ensconced in the impressive surroundings of the Museum of the Order of Saint John, Detail gathers an elite range of refined luxury fabrics, materials and surfaces.
- Ceramics of Italy - The Italian Trade Agency will be Collaborating with the Ceramics Association of Italy to present a range of inspiring brands, materials and designs at a completely custom-built venue.
